Chilliwack Range Exercise
The year that these photos were taken may be off by a year or so. We do have Lieutenant-Colonel John MacGregor in one photo so that certainly narrows down the time frame. Unfortunately the photos have been taken at a distance and many of the faces are somewhat unclear. This was also the time that some bright light at Army Headquarters decided that NCMs should all have their rank on their epaulets. Others that I see in the crowd are: Captain John Brownlee-Baker, Bombardier Niall Fraser, Bombardier Brad Smith, Gunner Ian Smith, Darren Kostinuk, Kent Wickens. The Officers and their invited guests gather for their annual St Barbara's Day Special Guest Night in honour of our patron saint. Lieutenant-Colonel John Carter, Major Vic Stevenson, Major Ian Newby, Captain Leon Jensen, Captain Rob Bower, Lieutenant Kent Wickens, Lieutenant Nick Watts. Check out the other pictures here.
Milcon 85 Road Move photographs have been added. Check them out here.

Photos from the Kids' Christmas Party have been added to the 1984 Yearbook. Have you got any stories from that party or other Christmas parties held at the Armoury?
Another group photo, this time from 1954. Can you help with some of the names? 15th Field Regiment RCA - 2 June 1954

The soccer season at the camp has just been brought to a successful conclusion with the Vancouver boysthe head of the league, giving them the football championship of the camp. In the series just concluded, the 68th Battery team won twelve games, lost none and had one draw match. They secured 25 points, while only one was registered against them. Fourteen teams comprised the league, and the Battery boys are to be congratulated on their fine showing against the other teams in the league., for they are composed of some of the finest players in the Dominion. The history of the 15th Field Artillery Regiment RCA consists of stories of people that have had a connection with the Regiment in some manner. As the Commanding Officer, many years ago, I was informed of the "Commanding Officer's Cuff Links" that were kept in the vault for the CO to wear during formal occasions. There was no reason given, nor was there a story that went with the cuffs. We now have that story placed on line in the 1968 Yearbook! Have you got any stories that need to recorded?
